Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) awarded
HMI Performance Incentives of Norwood, Massachusetts as the Inspirational Place to Work in 2021 during the IMA Summit Awards program last night at The Cliff Lodge, Snowbird, Utah.
A new award, the Inspirational Place to Work in 2021 Award, is meant to spotlight organizations that put people first, offer an engaging and inspiring place to work, value the role of employees, and embrace an open and inclusive culture supported by a future-thinking leadership team. Efforts related to corporate responsibility, sustainability, and the impact their businesses have on the environment are also considered.
HMI Performance Incentives was determined to make 2021 a year of positive impact. Knowing they would have to be creative to inspire their now largely remote workforce to discover new potential, they undertook five initiatives that engaged and rewarded employees and clients. For employees, they provided continuous training, health and wellness challenges, an employee incentive program and created a volunteer employee engagement committee. For clients, they inserted corporate social responsibility (CSR) into incentive travel programs to make them more meaningful and more effective as an incentive strategy.
